I think there needs to be a rule that’s identified across film as a whole. If Kevin Bacon is in a film, the film is worth giving your time to! While I stand by that statement, I’ll also say that Kyra Sedgwick is the most lovable psychopath in recent memory. And I’m even including ex girlfriends!! This movie was fun! The Bacon family hammed it up in this ridiculous comedy horror film and I have to say it was a good time. From the opening scene, I understood what I was in for and I wasn’t mad at it. Sosie Bacon continues to build on her success in 2022s Smile as one of the more grounded characters in film. Alongside of her brooding brother, Travis Bacon who is the guy you’re really rooting for throughout the film. Definitely a great lighthearted movie with some gore to enjoy with friends or alone on a lazy weekend. Either way it had a great premiere at South By Southwest 2026!
